Show path bar in Finder

To view the path bar, a handy and interactive “where are you?” panel, just select “Show path bar” from the Finder’s “View” menu.

You can see where  you are at a glance, you can click on upper folders and go to them, and also drag and drop files to upper folders to copy/move them.

Alternatively you can enable the “path” view in the title: see this tip.
